Skills And Qualifications
- 3+ years of PHP experience
- 1+ years of building custom web apps
- Knowledge of OOP principles and integration of APIs
- Good understanding of versioning control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
- Familiarity with SQL, MySQL databases, queuing and caching systems
- Ability to debug code quickly and efficiently
- Advanced understanding of web and markup,including HTML5, JavaScript/Jquery and basic CSS3
- Ability to work cross-disciplinarilly, collaborating with front-end developers and designers
- Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills
- A never ending desire to learn and improve to stay up to date with the industry trends
- Good communication, teamwork, problem solving and time management skills
- Technical degree in Computer Science, related technical degree or student in related technical sciences
Responsibilities
- Write simple yet effective code following code standards
- Assist and support custom development on projects by offering good technical solutions
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Attend weekly status meetings
- Collaborate with team members and clients

- Basic knowledge of Magento
- Working with Linux console or Linux in general
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
