- At least 3-5 years’ experience in PHP coding
- Experience with MySQL databases
- Very good knowledge of JSON, REST, HTTP protocol, Web Services
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, AJAX
- Excellent skills to solve technical problems
- Good ability to familiarize with unknown code in order to analyze and improve it
- Self-motivated, and able to multi-task
- Good written and spoken English
- Able to make and assume technical decisions. Doer, not follower.
- You’re already a PHP master and can handle some more. Our stack is mostly PHP, however we have some other areas implemented in other languages. We don’t hesitate to improve these as well.
- You have a bigger picture over full-stack (LAMP)
- You understand and have worked with concepts such as: networking, ecommerce, ticketing, agile, sprints, story-points, wiki, logging, monitoring, DOM/PageLoadingTime;
- You think in "patterns" : sincron/asincron, multithread, event driven, queues, latency/bandwidth; you consider them BEFORE starting to write code
- You’re familiar with new technologies and use them when and how you should. You don’t believe in "silver bullet technology"
- You know what you “don’t know” and you’re comfortable asking for help. We believe in team work and "knowledge sharing".
